0ISSF. Plumage varies, non-breeding (AUG-DEC), supplemental (JAN-APR), breeding (APR-AUG) ... BOW notes the breeding plumage is due to abrading of feather tips in what is inbetween the non-breeding and breeding seasons. M/F differ, with female more consistently duller throughout the year and male/female looking similar in non-breeding plumage but male slightly brighter; male with jet black markings in breeding plumage.
